Erin McGrath is Assistant Director for College Access and PK-12 Outreach at the State Council of Higher Education for Virginia. She also serves as Program Director for the federal GEAR UP grant. Previously, she taught ESL, Spanish, and Bilingual Education in the Chicago and Henrico Public School systems. She was also the Program Manager and East Coast Director for Workforce Language Services, a language and culture consulting company and translation agency based in Chicago, IL.

Erin received her BA from American University and MEd from Loyola University Chicago. She is currently a doctoral student in Old Dominion University’s Educational Leadership Program.
